SGB is a workplace where diverse voices are heard, our team thrives with support, and every client feels seen and valued.

We're Better, Together
Collaboration is more than a value—it’s a daily practice. Our attorneys and staff work closely across teams, sharing insight, strategy, and experience to deliver thoughtful, informed counsel.
Every member of our team has access to the collective knowledge of the firm, built on decades of legal experience and a deep understanding of the law. We believe the best outcomes come from many voices at the table, and we support one another in achieving justice.
This culture of openness and mutual respect not only strengthens our work—it strengthens our commitment to the people we serve.

DEIAB and SGB
At SGB, we take pride in our legacy of challenging the systems that perpetuate racial inequity and the imbalance of power. After nearly 60 years of fighting for justice, we acknowledge that progress has been made and recommit ourselves to advocating for equity and anti-racism in our legal practices, workplace, and communities.
In the words of our colleagues

I believe law is a powerful tool that incites amazing change if we wield it in the correct way. Law influences every aspect of our lives, including how we live day-to-day and how we as a society hope to live in the future. Unfortunately, the law is often a tool that’s only accessible to the privileged. I’m passionate about flipping that dynamic, shifting the power of the law, and finding ways to make the law work for all. My personal background as an immigrant and seeing how difficult these systems, including our legal system, is to navigate heavily inspired me to incite change for others.

I came to Schroeter Goldmark & Bender after 15 years as a senior deputy prosecutor for King County. I was drawn to SGB to continue advocating on behalf of crime victims. One of the advantages is the relationships I have with prosecutors and detectives all over the county to represent violent crime victims in the civil realm.
