Employment contracts are a feature of the modern workplace for many reasons. The contract represents a series of promises and commitments between the employer and employee. If an employer breaches an employment contract, the employee can sue for damages that arise from the breach. Often the employment contract designates the place in which the employee can enforce his or her rights. These days, the chosen forum is usually private arbitration. If there is no forum specified in the contract, the employee can sue the employer in state or federal court for breaching the employment contract. SGB attorneys have had recent success representing employees in breach of contract cases, including winning $1.39 million judgment at trial plus another $2 million in a post-trial settlement for wages owed on a contract to a wrongfully terminated employee.

My husband was diagnosed with mesothelioma and we reached out to Kaitlin to represent us, we are so grateful we did. Kaitlin not only knows everything about asbestos law, but she was the most caring attorney we've dealt with. This was a difficult time for us, but Kaitlin made us feel we could leave it up to her.
